Timothy Kendall, Director
What do action, comedy, and extremely awkward moments have in common?
<– this guy.
Timothy Kendall is an American director, editor, VFX artist and storyteller. Since 2004, he’s directed hundreds of television commercials ranging in various genres. He works well with celebrities and sports figures because he doesn’t know who they are. He once showed Albert Pujols how to swing a bat. Details are important.
Working with producer Justin Lin, Timothy is currently directing his feature film debut Hollywood Adventures that is set to release internationally June, 2015.
Whether he’s directing performance-driven comedy or stylized action, his projects encompass a keen sense of rhythm, pacing, and visual style that captivates, entertains, and makes people high-five. True story, he claims that in 1998 he invented the “blow up” fist-bump handshake. Nobody believes him.
Side note: The key to a really good high-five that always makes good contact is to watch the other person’s elbow. Try it.
In his free time, Timothy wonders if anyone really reads bios.
